Dali Digitized

Dali wasn’t expecting me.

When interning as a graphic designer at The Dali Museum of St. Petersburg, I had the chance to look closer to Dali’s world. While researching different pieces he had created, I ran into a customized card deck located at the private library of the museum.

My curiosity was immediately awaken by my great finding. As a side project, I got the chance to digitize my favorite card- The Queen of Hearts. The colors are different from the original art piece, I decided to add bright colors that seem only available with our generations greatest art luxury- RGB colors.

The art piece is still and will forever be Dali’s craftsmanship. However, I am glad I had the chance to bring her Queen of Hearts to another art dimension – graphic design.

Can you find another personalization I did to the card?
