Informational Stations

The Challenge

A was looking for a creative way to design interactive kiosks where they could communicate and share information with rural towns in Iquitos. These are communities who are recently making use of the internet and usually young people leave their communities for professional opportunities.

The Process

After learning on what was important for these communities and the need for the private company to build engagement and trust, we developed a design identity that speaks to them in a clear, colorful, and resourceful way. Portraying their rich culture and natural resources, as something that is respected. The design is based on UX design principles, creating a natural flow of information and images that creates a unique encounter.

We gave identity to each kiosk, each being represented with a local animals as the main illustration. Each illustration is accompanied with colorful layouts and a tropical language that calls for community and growth through sustainable practices.
